Engineers Week 2026
We had a fantastic week celebrating Engineers Week 2026, exploring the world of STEM.
Students took part in a wide range of hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork and problem-solving. They investigated waterproof materials, designed bridges, explored how helicopters work, created catapults, designed marble runs, constructed and stress-tested tinfoil towers, and even built Lego ducks.
The children’s imagination, curiosity and engineering skills were truly on display as they experimented, designed and tested their ideas.
A big thank you to all the teachers involved, to Ms. Harte for coordinating the entire Engineers Week programme in our school, and to the visiting engineers from Ethos who shared their experiences and demonstrated real-world engineering applications, sparking great curiosity among the students.
