ACAT Admissions for September 2026 are now closed.

For 2026/2027 school year autism class admissions St. Brigid's NS will participate in the D15 Autism Class Application Trial.

17 primary schools, and Danú special school are participating in the Dublin 15 Autism Class Application Trial. By completing one ONLINE application form and submitting it with relevant paperwork, you can apply to 18 schools.

This trial does not represent a common admissions policy. St. Brigid's NS maintains complete autonomy over our admission policy, criteria and oversubscription criteria. Please note that parental participation in this trial, does not guarantee an autism class place for your child.

Step 1: All parents/guardians need to get ELIGIBILITY LETTER from NCSE for 2026/27 school year by the deadline of 1st of October 2025. This is done via PARENTS NOTIFY. Watch a short video on how to complete the PARENTS NOTIFY process HERE.

Step 2: Complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM which will be live on our school website and NCSE website on 1/10/2025.

If you have difficulty completing this ONLINE form, you can email D15ACAT@ncse.ie and request assistance. You can come along to one of our Parent Support Sessions, which will be hosted by our SENOS. Email and posted applications will be accepted.
